The Ponteland By Election

It’s been a busy week knocking doors and speaking to voters in Ponteland, where the Town Council By-Election is being held on the 8th February. There’s been amazing support on the doorstep for the Labour Candidate Michael Clarke, who is looking to bring a Labour voice on to the Town Council. The Conservatives are clearly running scared in this by-election. A little birdie has told us that they’ve even been looking at our events page to find our where we’re canvassing!

Don’t forget on the 8th vote for Michael Clarke!

Elsewhere in the Consituency

Our greatest strength lies in the numbers of activists we have spread right across the constituency. As well as supporting Michael Clarke’s by-election campaign, we’ve also been out delivering leaflets for Kim McGuiness’ campaign to be NE Mayor, Susan Dungworth’s campaign to be Police and Crime Commissioner and, of course, our very own Joe Morris’s vital campaign to be the Hexham Constituency’s first ever Labour MP. We’ve been speaking to voters in Corbridge, Allendale and Haltwhistle and finding a real appetite for change after 14 catastrophic years of Conservative Government.

Right across Hexham Constituency Labour Party members are working to Build a Better Britain and get Guy Opperman out after 13 disastrous years of Conservative government.
