Corbridge

Corbridge has a number of Labour Party members. Currently this stands at about one hundred. Some have been in the party for a number of years and remember when the village had its own active branch as part of the Hexham Constituency Labour Party. Many are new members reflecting the dramatic increase in interest in Labour's values, ideas and policies. Young people are among the keenest of new joiners.

Many members and people who share Labour's vision of equality and fairness but don't necessarily want to join a political party have expressed an interest in creating a Labour supporters group. This would enable people to discuss local and national issues and explore how we as a village can have a say in local and national politics.
