Allen Valleys
The Allen Valleys Labour Party Supporters is an informal group of Labour Party supporters, living in Allendale and the Allen Valleys, who meet every couple of months to discuss politics and local issues.
We had an excellent inaugural meeting in the Golden Lion in late February 2018, focusing on what we can do locally to help bring an end to this Conservative Government and Guy Opperman’s tenure as the Hexham MP. We agreed to a number of action points to inform local people on what Labour is doing to bring about a fairer society and to build support for the party locally.
Since then we've been active campaigning locally on a variety of issues, speaking to residents and improving the local environment.
