Bywell Branch organises fundraiser

The Bywell Branch organised a successful fundraising garden party in Wylam today. Local Labour party members and supporters were treated to an afternoon of tea, homemade cake and music. There was an excellent selection of second hand books and vintage clothes for sale, an opportunity to try your luck in the tombola or the raffle and a chance to have drink and a catch up with friends and acquaintances.

Proceeds from the day will go to the General Election Campaign fund and to support the West End Refugee Centre.

The 222 Club

There was also an opportunity to join the 222 Club. In 1997 Labour lost the Hexham Constituency seat by the narrowest of margins: 222 votes. By pledging £222 to the General Election Campaign Fund  you, a group of friends or an organisation can join the 222 Club and help us to make sure that at the next election we win in Hexham! The Polls show it’s possible.

If you don’t want to join the 222 Club then any donation, no matter how big or small is welcome.
