A message from Angie Scott
It’s been, yet again, a hard year and times are difficult but Christmas is coming soon, and I need your help once again to put a SMILE on the faces of local families
The appeal is in its fourth year now, thanks to your amazing generosity and that of the wider Prudhoe community! I do not want the cost-of-living crisis to take away the joy of Christmas from the children and families in our community experiencing hard times. By donating, you are saying loud and clear that our community cares.
We are collecting new gifts, selection boxes and sweets for children and families experiencing hardship and want to ensure children have a gift at Christmas.
We aim to provide children and young people aged 0-18 years old with a present. The recipients will live predominantly in the Prudhoe and Mickley area, or nearby and are working with community partners to identify the children and families to benefit from the appeal.
How it works…
From Monday 6th November until 2nd December, you can drop off gifts via our collection points at:
- Tyne Riverside Country Park Cafe, near Prudhoe railway station. 10 am till 3.30pm Mon – Sun
- Prudhoe Community HUB. 61 Front Street, Prudhoe, NE42 5AA. 10am- 4pm Mon-Fri.
- Red Hot Property. 68 Front St, Prudhoe, NE42 5AA 8.30am – 5pm Mon-Fri / 9am – 1p.m
Thanks again for making a difference, and Merry Christmas!
Angie
